ACADEMIC AND PRACTITIONER CONTENT

Over the years, my work has been published in various academic journals, conference proceedings, top practitioner outlets, and blogs on the subjects of innovation, entrepreneurship and coworking spaces. As a former academic, I have a good eye and taste for producing fact-based contents. I always make sure that my articles are backed up with reliable resources, spiced up with inspiring stories and full with practical takeaways. I collected my favourite articles which you can see just below. If you are interested in my academic pieces, please visit Coworking Library to find all in one place. PUBLIC SPEAKING

PUBLIC SPEAKING

There is one thing I do love more than writing: sharing my knowledge with the masses. I have spoken at various academic conferences, and delivered many talks at practitioner events on coworking and innovation. The year of 2018 was the busiest of all: I attended 7 events as a speaker. Particularly exciting once were Coworking Unconference Asia, and Norway’s first ever coworking event, Fabrikkenseminar, where I was fortunate to share some of the results of my PhD study on the keys to successful coworking spaces. Other topics I love talking about are new ways of working, social innovation and economic development. Let’s talk and find a topic that fits best to your event.
FEASIBILITY STUDY (RESEARCH & ANALYSIS)

FEASIBILITY STUDY (RESEARCH & ANALYSIS)

Starting a coworking space from scratch is hard without figuring out whether it is something that people would need, and whether it is something possible to create in your area. Validating your idea and concept requires some research and analysis. Based on the findings, the appropriate model for your space can be identified (hint: might not be a “classical” coworking) along with the peculiarities of your target audience, that help develop strategies to design your space. By design, I mean designing the physical space but also a plan of action to build and sustain your community - sounds complex, doesn’t it? Just wait until your customized study is delivered to your mailbox - all pieces will fall into place.

A CUAsia Inspired Self-Reflection Exercise

Ideally, when one starts a coworking space, not building/ painting/ designing/ decorating/ furnishing the space is the first item on the to-do list, but community building. Plus 6 other steps I do recommend which will surely put you on track to provide a true coworking experience. Ready... steady... go!
